Larimar City strengthens its presence in Dominican public opinion

Larimar City strengthens its presence in Dominican public opinion after an institutional meeting with one of the country's leading media outlets.

Larimar City & Resort continues consolidating its positioning within the Dominican Republic's economic, urban, and media ecosystem. In this context, the recent private meeting between our CEO, Juan Andrés Romero, and the director of the Diario Libre newspaper, Aníbal de Castro, marked an especially meaningful moment in the project's maturation process in the country.

During the meeting, held in a warm and professional setting, a detailed view of Larimar City's development was shared, addressing both its urban planning and its value proposition as a smart city in the Caribbean. The meeting allowed a deeper dive into the foundations supporting the project: innovation, integrated planning, sustainability, and a people-centered urban concept.

After four years of active presence in the Dominican Republic, Larimar City enters a new stage marked by growing public, institutional, and business interest. The project is starting to occupy a relevant space in the debate about the country's urban future, generating high-level conversations with opinion leaders, economic representatives, and key actors in national development.

Digital edition

As a result of this shared interest, Grupo Diario Libre published, on February 27, a digital piece dedicated to Larimar City, highlighting its concept as a smart city and its potential impact on the tourism and residential development of Punta Cana. The news will also be carried in the newspaper's print edition on February 28, coinciding with the National Independence Day — an especially symbolic date for the Dominican Republic and for all projects committed to the country's sustainable growth.

From Larimar City we wish to express our sincere thanks to Grupo Diario Libre for the welcome, closeness, and professionalism shown throughout the process. Journalistic interest and informational rigor contribute to a constructive dialogue about the new city models defining the Caribbean's future.

Meetings like this reflect the importance of collaboration between media, the business sector, and civil society. Building a city doesn't begin only with the physical execution of the project, but also with the generation of trust, knowledge, and public conversation.

Larimar City thus reaffirms its commitment to the Dominican Republic, a country that has accompanied the project's development from its earliest stages and that today watches with growing attention an urban proposal conceived to drive innovation, investment, and quality of life.

We keep moving forward, convinced that the future of cities is built through dialogue, transparency, and a shared vision.
