Larimar City takes part in the 9th Mediterranean Contract Forum: design, luxury, and the Caribbean at the center of the conversation

The Region of Murcia and the Caribbean come together at an event that strengthens international collaboration in the contract sector.

On November 4, the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena hosted a new edition of the Mediterranean Contract Forum, organized by David Cámara and the INFO Region of Murcia, bringing together architects, designers, manufacturers, and developers with a shared vision: to drive the internationalization of the contract sector and its positioning in new high-potential markets, such as the Caribbean.

The Caribbean as a destination of opportunities

Under the theme "A shared vision from the Caribbean and the Arabian Gulf," speakers agreed in highlighting the sustained growth of the Caribbean region and its appeal for top-tier architecture, design, and furniture projects.

Among them, JCA (Architect) shared his experience in the Dominican Republic, underscoring the moment of expansion the country is going through and the opportunities it offers to European firms with technical and creative capacity. GM (Design Director, Hospitality & Luxury Residential Specialist) spoke about the evolution of luxury residential and hotel design, and how European styles adapt to the tropical context to create spaces with identity and sophistication. Finally, SE, CEO of his own artisan firm, championed design made in the Region of Murcia as an example of exportable creativity and added value for international projects.

Ángela Moyano's participation as Head of After-Sales: interior design and customer care at the company

Representing Larimar City & Resort, Ángela Moyano, head of the After-Sales department, took part in the panel dedicated to the Caribbean, bringing an essential perspective: client support and the personalization of spaces in the interior-design and furniture realm within large-scale projects.

"During my talk I wanted to highlight the importance of having a solid, specialized furniture and contract structure to support projects of the scale of Larimar City. And what better ally than the professionals of our beloved Region of Murcia, whose experience and quality are internationally recognized."

Drawing on her experience at Larimar, Ángela Moyano emphasized how after-sales interior design has become a fundamental pillar of the project, allowing owners and investors to be accompanied through the process of personalizing and furnishing their homes, ensuring a comprehensive luxury experience.

Larimar City & Resort: a city that inspires

The presentation of Larimar City & Resort, a smart, sustainable city being developed in the heart of the Caribbean, sparked great interest among attendees thanks to its urban-planning philosophy, technological vision, and commitment to wellbeing and high-end design. It is also a project driven by a Murcia-based company, CLERHP, headquartered in the city of Murcia.

Being able to present this project in Cartagena — a region with a long industrial, innovative, and exporting tradition — was particularly symbolic for Ángela Moyano, who described the event as a "deeply gratifying and enriching experience, both professionally and personally."

Synergies between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean

The forum made clear the need to build bridges between regions that share the same future vision: quality, design, sustainability, and internationalization. For Larimar City & Resort, this participation reinforces its commitment to the contract sector and its role as an engine of economic and cultural development between Murcia and the Caribbean — bringing together talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial vision.
