Álvaro Meca — Deputy Director, CLERHP ESTRUCTURAS

Who is Álvaro Meca?

I'm Álvaro Meca Rubio, trained in Law and Business Administration, with a marked entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for the stock market. From a young age, my parents passed on values like responsibility and effort, teaching me by example. At nine, I launched a small initiative with my brother in the poultry sector — an experience that shaped my entrepreneurial vocation.

Over time, I understood that legal knowledge is key to running businesses successfully, while the stock market has become a stimulating environment that lets me develop critical analysis, understand global markets, and learn from different sectors and business models.

What is your role within CLERHP?

I joined CLERHP as Deputy Director. From this position, I take on various responsibilities, with the management and review of legal matters being one of the tasks that takes most of my time. I also actively participate in the planning area, collaborating in the implementation of processes and in the company's document management.

What excites you most about Larimar City & Resort?

He tells us he joined Larimar after an invitation from Juan Andrés Romero, a young entrepreneur who presented him the vision of creating in the Dominican Republic an urban hub to live and visit. As a restless person motivated by challenges, he didn't hesitate to accept. Upon joining, he discovered a deeply committed human team — something that positively surprised him. For him, Larimar is not just a company but a collective dream that advances every day, a multidisciplinary project from which he learns constantly and that fills him with pride.
