Larimar City & Resort Brings the Caribbean Vision to Hábitat Valencia

Design can also be a way of understanding a place, its culture and its way of living.

At Hábitat Valencia, one of the leading events in the habitat and design sector in Spain, Ángela Moyano, our Head of After-Sales, took part as a speaker with a talk titled "The art of dwelling: a design perspective from the Caribbean".

During the talk, Ángela shared a different view of design and architecture from a Caribbean context, focusing on how the surroundings, the climate, the culture and the way people relate to spaces can shape how a home is conceived and lived in.

The talk drew notable interest among attendees. More than 100 people came to the session, drawn both by this Caribbean perspective on design and by their interest in learning more about Larimar City & Resort, the major city project CLERHP is developing in the Dominican Republic.

Designing for a new way of dwelling

Talking about design from the Caribbean means talking about spaces conceived to integrate with their surroundings, and about a different relationship between architecture, nature and everyday life.

This vision is part of the identity of Larimar City & Resort, where the development of residential spaces and the city's different areas seeks to respond to a way of life connected to the Dominican environment.

It is the same perspective Ángela Moyano already shared in The art of dwelling, where the After-Sales team explained how orientation, light, materials and furnishings transform the experience of a home in the Caribbean.

Ángela's participation brought this perspective to professionals and visitors at Hábitat Valencia, creating a space for conversation around design, architecture and new ways of dwelling.

The event also served to present the Larimar City proposal to an audience particularly interested in the opportunities the Caribbean offers and in the evolution of a project conceived to become a new residential, tourism and business destination in the Dominican Republic.

Its presence at Hábitat Valencia reinforces the connection between Larimar City & Resort and the design and habitat sector in Spain, while sharing a vision built on one essential principle:
