With our heart set on the community, Larimar is driving a fundraising campaign for Fundación Funeyca PC — Foundation for the Cultural and Artistic Expansion of Punta Cana (https://funeyca.org/) — an initiative that brings children closer to progress and development through art and education.

At Larimar City & Resort we believe true development isn't measured only in infrastructure, but in opportunities. And few things transform as much as education and music. That's why, within the framework of our social initiative, we have launched a fundraising drive for the FUNEYCA PC Foundation and its president and executive director of the Punta Cana System, Doña ROMINA ASCHPORWIS — a project that has shown how children without resources can change their destiny through the power of culture.

This initiative, led by Rosa Sancho, Director of Protocol and Events at Larimar, alongside Ana Sánchez, our president's wife, is born of the conviction that progress is only real when it reaches people. Both have joined efforts, time, and sensitivity to invite Dominican, Spanish, and international companies with a presence in the country to join a cause that goes beyond philanthropy: it is an investment in the future. Because Larimar represents progress, innovation, and wellbeing, but also empathy. We are a city designed for better living, and that means looking at our surroundings with commitment. In this case, doing it through music is especially symbolic: the sound of a violin or the rhythm of a drum can open doors for children who only needed an opportunity to discover their talent and build their own path.

At the Larimar City & Resort grand opening, this commitment to the region's human and social development will be highlighted. It will be a moment to publicly recognize all the companies that have already joined this action — the first five firms have confirmed their participation — and to thank the joint effort that will allow us to improve the Foundation's facilities, equip it with new instruments, and expand its teaching team, with the goal of reaching more children every year.

Because when a city is born with purpose, its heartbeat is felt beyond its limits. Larimar aims to be that drive that inspires wellbeing, community, and hope.
