Punta Cana, June 2026. Larimar City & Resort welcomed this week the visit of a leading international delegation made up of top companies from the architecture, interior design, equipment, technology, lighting and hospitality sectors, as part of the Encuentro Empresarial Contract República Dominicana 2026 (Contract Business Meeting Dominican Republic 2026), an initiative promoted by UNEX, the business association for habitat, its internationalization and the Contract sector, together with AIA Latin America and several Spanish business-promotion and internationalization bodies.
The visit marks the second consecutive year in which representatives of this business mission have seen firsthand the evolution of Larimar City & Resort, one of the most ambitious urban developments currently under construction in the Caribbean.

The delegation was welcomed by Ángela Moyano, Director of After-Sales and Interior Design at Larimar City & Resort, together with the project team, who shared with attendees the vision of Larimar as a city planned to live, invest and enjoy, as well as the opportunities the Dominican Republic offers as a strategic destination for real estate, tourism and residential investment.

The Encuentro Empresarial Contract República Dominicana 2026 was held between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana with the aim of strengthening business relations between Spain, the Dominican Republic and Latin America, promoting collaboration among architects, designers, developers, hoteliers and companies specialized in the habitat and hospitality sector.
Among the participating companies were internationally renowned firms such as Santos, a manufacturer of kitchens and living spaces; Vondom, specialized in designer outdoor furniture; Jung, a benchmark in technology for smart buildings; Alvic, a manufacturer of components for interior design; Gancedo, a firm specialized in decorative textiles and wallpapers; IHM Group, specialized in hospitality equipment; as well as other leading companies such as Liberdec, Omioatelier, Puertas Proma, Eurolaton, Elite, Ibercam, García Requejo, JF Ortuño, We Are Furtivo and Enjoy Group Costa Rica, among others.

The participating companies represent different strategic areas for the development of large-scale real estate and hotel projects, including interior design, lighting, building technology, furniture, decoration, comprehensive equipment and specialized procurement for hospitality.
A destination city for the Caribbean
During the day, attendees were able to learn about the evolution of the project, the progress of the various residential phases currently under construction, as well as the long-term vision of Larimar City & Resort as a destination city designed to become one of the urban-development benchmarks of the Caribbean.

These kinds of encounters make it possible to keep building long-term relationships with leading international companies in their respective sectors, drive knowledge exchange and generate new collaboration opportunities around a project that continues to consolidate itself as a reference for innovation, urban planning and sustainable development in the Dominican Republic.
The visit also reaffirms Larimar City & Resort's ability to attract the interest of international companies linked to design, architecture, equipment and the development of residential and tourism spaces, strengthening its position as one of the real estate projects with the greatest projection in the region.
