Maraluna Beach Club: a place where the soul breathes and the senses awaken

In the heart of Larimar City & Resort rises the Maraluna Beach Club, a space conceived to merge with its surroundings and return to the visitor something essential: the ability to breathe calmly and enjoy the present. Here, the horizon blends with the immensity of the sky, the water caresses the senses, and the tropical breeze whispers an eternal summer.

Maraluna isn't just a beach club — it's a setting where architecture and nature join hands. A refuge in which warm colors, vegetation, and Caribbean light dialogue with a design intended to accompany, not to impose. In this place, every texture, every line, and every material has been chosen to celebrate the identity of the Caribbean and convey serenity.

A dual experience

The central concept behind Maraluna is the "dual experience." During the day, the club presents itself as an oasis of relaxation: hammocks facing the sea, pools that open to the horizon, and spaces conceived for rest or socializing under the shade of palm trees. With the arrival of night, the same setting transforms into a sophisticated, vibrant, sensory environment, where live music and the great central stage invite celebration under the stars.

Maraluna is, in essence, a space that adapts to the rhythms of life — offering the visitor the freedom to choose how and when to experience it.

Open architecture: the Caribbean as protagonist

One of the principles that defines the Beach Club's design is its open, light, permeable architecture. The transitions between interior and exterior are so soft they seem nonexistent: the boundaries blur, and suddenly the sea, the wind, and the vegetation form an inseparable part of the experience.

This approach seeks not only beauty but also wellbeing. Being at Maraluna means living in connection with nature, feeling how the space breathes with its surroundings, and how the architecture accompanies — without interrupting — the natural flow of the elements.

The entrance pergolas, the platforms that organize the space, and the pools at different levels show a design that thinks about functionality without giving up aesthetics. Every element has been conceived to provide comfort, shade, freshness, and openness — while building a welcoming, enveloping atmosphere.

Materials that embrace nature

The choice of materials reinforces that integration with the surroundings. Coral stone provides freshness and resistance; tropical wood connects with the artisanal and the local; and hand-made ceramics add warmth and detail in wet and decorative areas.

The chromatic palette — sands, whites, ochres, greens, and turquoises — reflects the essence of the Caribbean. They aren't imposed colors, but extracted from the landscape itself, as if the club had always been there, waiting to be discovered.

Wellbeing and community

Maraluna Beach Club isn't just a leisure venue — it's a space designed for wellbeing and wellness. The direct contact with nature, water, and natural light — combined with the possibility of enjoying shared experiences — turns the club into a unique enclave for reconnecting.

Here, architecture not only builds spaces — it creates memorable moments: a lunch with friends under the pergolas, a solitary rest facing the horizon, or a vibrant sunset to the rhythm of live music. Maraluna seeks for every visitor to find a place where they can care for themselves, enjoy, and feel part of a community.

An icon for Larimar City & Resort

Within the masterplan of Larimar City & Resort, Maraluna Beach Club stands out as one of its iconic spaces. It represents the relaxed luxury, social life, and contact with nature that define the project's philosophy. It's a tourist attraction, an added value for real estate investment, and — above all — a sign of identity that differentiates Larimar in the Caribbean. To learn more about this project, we recommend reading our article on "Investing in Punta Cana in 10 steps".

By integrating leisure, design, and wellbeing, the club brings dynamism to the city as a whole and becomes a catalyst for community. At Larimar, we don't just build homes — we build a lifestyle, and Maraluna is one of its great protagonists.

A professional legacy

For its design architect, Dailín González Machín, Maraluna Beach Club represents both a challenge and a privilege. Conceiving such an emblematic space in Punta Cana, within a pioneering urban project like Larimar City & Resort, has been the opportunity to apply a sensitive architectural vision — one that looks both at the surroundings and at people.

"Designing Maraluna has meant demonstrating that architecture can improve life, create identity, and leave a mark on a territory. For me, this project is more than a space: it's a legacy that reflects how design can become wellbeing, culture, and community."
